Polycotton

Polycotton fabric is a blend of natural cotton fibres and synthetic polyester fibres. It combines the best qualities of both materials, offering a versatile and practical textile option.

Key characteristics of polycotton fabric:

Durability: Polyester fibres enhance the strength and tear resistance of the fabric, making it more durable than pure cotton.

Wrinkle resistance: Polycotton is less prone to wrinkling than cotton, requiring minimal ironing.

Easy care: It can be machine-washed and dried without shrinking or losing its shape.

Breathability: The cotton content allows for some airflow, making it more breathable than pure polyester.

Affordability: Polycotton is generally less expensive than pure cotton fabrics.

Common uses of polycotton fabric:

Clothing: Shirts, blouses, dresses, trousers, workwear, uniforms
Bedding: Sheets, pillowcases, duvet covers
